Weekend at the cabin

As every first weekend of December, we went to the Ardennes for the weekend. Unfortunately our partners in crime fell sick the first night, so it was just the three of us most of the weekend. It was good chilling with a (cook) book, a little afternoon nap, the annual visit to the christmas market in Durbuy, driving through the back roads in the dark, chilling under the duvet in the sofa watching christmas movies (with matching x-mas socks), sleeping in, just enjoying some quality time together. When we drove home, I was all in christmas mood, so we decided to go and buy the tree (s) (one for us and a little one for her).
The weekend in the Ardennes preludes the most wonderful time of the year - and I am so ready for it.

Family Weekend / Part 4

Last weekend we went on our annual family weekend again to the Ardennes. This time we went kayaking down the Ourthe. Olivia was a real sport and enjoyed the time in the water as it was such a hot summer day. It was so fun to do with our little family but also with my big family. Even my dad did it. We barbecued, did a fun game in the evening, which involved flour and water and biscuits.
Sunday morning we did a big brunch on the terrace, played some games, had some conversations in the jacuzzi, had an early dinner and made our arrangements for next year! Thanks for a fun weekend, family!

Friends Weekend

As mentioned in my previous blogpost, we went on our annual friends weekend to the Ardennes. Last time we went- little A. was still in the belly, and now she is happily playing with our little O.
Oh, how fast time goes! Anyway we had a great chill weekend, we watched dvd's, played cards, read, cooked, went to the Christmas market in Durbuy (twice) and just enjoyed some quiet quality time.
Our little girl was so happy to spend time with her Tati Boum, Booke and Axelle and did not leave their side for a second. The kids are making memories.
Already making plans for next year!
Thanks C&K for the great weekend! And thanks for loving our girl!
