Weekend at the cabin

As every first weekend of December, we went to the Ardennes for the weekend. Unfortunately our partners in crime fell sick the first night, so it was just the three of us most of the weekend. It was good chilling with a (cook) book, a little afternoon nap, the annual visit to the christmas market in Durbuy, driving through the back roads in the dark, chilling under the duvet in the sofa watching christmas movies (with matching x-mas socks), sleeping in, just enjoying some quality time together. When we drove home, I was all in christmas mood, so we decided to go and buy the tree (s) (one for us and a little one for her).

The weekend in the Ardennes preludes the most wonderful time of the year - and I am so ready for it.
