Last friday we arrived at Malaga airport late in the evening - but when we got to the hotel in 40°C, I thought: we need to get a tinto de verano on a terrace, we cannot start this trip without it. So we went for drinks at a local bar around midnight and it was the best drink ever!
We had arrived in our favorite part of Spain again!
The next day we decided to have a beach day before heading to our house in the mountains (rental house I must add, although in my heart it is mine). We went to La Cala del Moral, some 15 kms outside of Malaga - a quiet town where the beach was not crowded, the tinto de verano was ice cold and the pulpo was freshly made on the plancha. Good start of our holiday, I would say.
