Lillet Vive

When Lolo got home today after his first day back at work after the holidays, I thought he could do with a nice apero & me too (of course)
When I said I was fixing is something with Lillet, he immediately said:
Lillet, that's a vintage drink! In the 19thirties, this was the aperitif in vogue all over the world. So he could have a point there. People used to drink it on special occasions.
But I think the vintage bottle and the taste are very contemporary. (he liked it too)

Parfait alors! And perfect on a very hot day! Lillet vive!

So here's the recipe (the official one)
I used Elderflower Tonic and raspberry instead of strawberry, but also very good.
Lillet Vive
In the serving glass, place
  • 5cl of Lillet Blanc
  • 10cl of tonic water
  • ice cubes
  • 1 slice of cucumber
Glass: Tall
Decoration: Strawberry or raspberry, fresh mint.
Preparation: Pour 5cl of Lillet Blanc into a glass full of ice cubes. Add 10cl of tonic water and a slice of cucumber. Decorate with one strawberry and a mint leaf.
