After my post about Saint Malo (here), here I am again with a diary of my stay at Le Grand Hotel des Thermes and the Thalasso attached to it. I arrived at the station of Saint Malo after a 6 hour train journey to this monumental hotel, where I was shown to my beautiful sea view room.
This was the view of my room.
After settling in, I went for a very nice lunch in the gastronomic restaurant of the hotel 'Cap Horn'
I changed into my bathrobe and slippers and took the elevator down to the Thalasso of the hotel, because my 'thalasso thérapie' program was about to start.
On the program:
massages, seaweed wraps, multi-jet baths, facial treatment, manual affusion shower, under water showers, marine draining, ondorelax,...
I was pampered, alright.
In between treatments I went swimming, or in the hammam or sauna or chilled in the sea view lounge with some bio tea.
After a 'busy' day, I went for a nice dinner and a glass of wine and I was in bed by 10! Feeling so relaxed and balanced already, and that was only day 1...you can imagine me after 2 & 3 :)
Isn't this the face of a super relaxed woman?
I had never experienced a thalasso getaway before, but I can very much recommend it, now that I have lived it to the fullest. Everything was exactly how it was supposed to be, the hotel, the food, the treatments, the friendly staff.
They also organise mommy & baby getaways, which seems like such a good idea when you are a young mom, as they have a licenced day care during your treatments and all sorts of activities adapted to mommy & baby.
This 3-day getaway was offered to me by Elle België, Atout France and Les Thermes Marins de Saint Malo.
Thanks to them all for a perfect organisation and the kind welcome.
