Sunday we celebrated Olivia's 4th birthday with family and friends. It is the 4th year in a row that we can have the party in our garden with great weather. It's like sun comes out when it is time to throw a party for this little girl. This year we decided to go for a 'pow wow' party theme, a bit of a tribal princess sorta vibe with a tee pee cake, lemonades, dream catchers, a boho picnic in the grass with recycled pallets used as tables, and because of the heat: ice cream with a number of toppings.
Olivia was spoiled rotten again by our family and friends. She didn't know which present to unpack first. She got a lot of cool stuff. But the most important part is that everybody came together for this little girl and that we had a lovely afternoon. When I tucked her in last night, she whispered that she loved today and that she wished it was her birthday every day. Celebrating my daughter's life is the best thing I can think of doing on Mother's day (here in Belgium).

Oh my goodness! Olivia's 4th birthday bash with family and friends looks awesome. All the arrangements were great. For my daughter’s 1st birthday I also threw a family bash at the local garden themed Chicago venues. It was a successful bash.
