Swimsuit and armbands for the win! We managed to get our kid in a pool WITH a swimsuit and armbands. She even loves it now to be able to be in the deep water without our help. She says: No, Mama, Petti (her nickname for those new on the blog) swims by herself' when I want to hold her. So much for needing help from your mother at the age of 3. She is such an independent little girl. She wants to do everything herself without any help. This holiday in the Pays Basque we went a few times to the pool to cool down in the heatwave. Olivia and her cousin had lots of fun playing in the water together and they both made a lot of progress, feeling more confident in the water.
