We combined the Rolling Kitchen Festival with a speedy city trip to Amsterdam. I really like Amsterdam, I think it is a very pleasant city to stroll or bike around, with nice shopping, terraces and atmosphere. Our hotel had a boat stop into the city, so we enjoyed a nice ride along the canals, in the sunshine. Petti loved being on the boat. You get a better view of the city from the canal, as you can just watch everything go by. I liked the architecture of the houses and the double front doors, which you don't see very often in other places.
PS: It was also Petti's first time in a sofa bed in a hotel, as she does not accept baby cots anymore (she crawls out of them). She was feeling like a princess in her double bed with white sheets and white pyjamas. It was so adorable.
