Lust for Food

Until about 4 years ago, my diet mostly consisted of pizza, miracoli pasta (yes, the one with the powder sauce), ready made dishes from the supermarket & fries. I cannot even imagine it now, eating all that s*** on a daily basis. But in a way, it also reflected my relationship with myself at that point of my life. I'm so happy that - thanks to my wonderful man - I discovered the love and the passion for food. Over the last few years I have spent a lot of time with my nose in cooking books and foodie blogs. And it makes me happy to try new recipes, to get food inspired and to take good care of myself and my family. Food is so important in our lives.
Good food is important - honest food is important.
Eating as a family around the table is important.
Respecting your body is important.
It is all about being balanced - happy and healthy.
Winter Salad recipe for 2 (and a baby)

* 2 Parsnip
* 4 carrots
Cut them in big chunks and put them in a roasting tray with sunflower oil and fleur de sel. Roast for 25 minutes on 200°C.
* 100 gr smoked bacon
Just bake in the pan so they are ready together with the veggies

* 1 Apple, cut in dices

* 1 red beet, thinly sliced
Cook in water for about 25 minutes and peel the skin off.

* 100 gr soft fresh goat cheese
* 4 table spoons of milk
* 125 ml fresh cream, whipped
Mix together, season and put into a piping bag, put back in the fridge while you wait for the other elements to be ready

Wash 2 handfuls of nice green salad.

Assemble your salad and drizzle with a simple vinaigrette of sunflower oil & cider vinegar.

Enjoy!
