48 hours in Toronto

They say Toronto is like New York, but run by the Swiss. It does have that NYC vibe, too many people, having too important jobs, walking too fast with their take out coffee in hand. But it does have some authentic areas, where the 'old' Canada can be seen. Old European-like buildings stand next to ultra modern glass skyscrapers, but somehow it all blends together. The city also offers the ultimate getaway, the Islands, just a ferry boat ride away, where no cars are aloud and everything is about having a good time.
We went canoeing, sat down on the beach, had a beer, played in the grass with the baby, a wonderful lazy afternoon, before hitting the buzzling town again for dinner and ice cream.
