My auntie asked us to take care of the food for her 50th Birthday Party.Of course, We said yes with a lot of pleasure...
'50 is the new 30' was the Theme of the Evening
The Hors d'oevre Buffet consisted of the following things:
* Rolls of Philadelphia, cucumber, smoked salmon topped with some dill
*Appetizer spoons with fresh goatcheese, figs and parma ham.
* Toasted bread with foie gras
*Home made puff pastry sticks filled with ham & cheese, decorated with sesame seeds.
*Vegetable chips
For the entree, we made a tomato trio: Vertical tomato-mozzarella, gaspacho with hard boiled egg and a tarte tatin of tomato filled with olive tapenade on a bed of puff pastry
Main course was a barbecued 'magret de canard' accompanied by a sauce of balsamico vinegar and honey, oven slow cooked sjalot and an ovenbaked potatoe in the skin.

Dessert with a 50 theme...
Vanilla muffins with a vanilla topping
Panna Cota with speculaas crumbs
And a Strawberry tiramisu with white chocolat on top.
We were delighted to do this party! And I hope everybody had a good dinner and evening.

Hello Lisaaaa, this is your auntie, the dinner was mmmmhhhh!!! Very,very nice and delicious. Everyone found it very good, even my dady (he is a little bit difficult what means food)
