Weekend in Morocco

We spent this weekend at Lolo's friends in Tangier. They run a very good restaurant here and since hubby and his friends were running the semi marathon here, we decided to make it a weekend with the family. We had such a good time: the weather was warm (25°C), the food was great and although time was limited, we tried to fit in as much as we could: the running, an amazing couscous, an afternoon at the beach, us girls went to a hammam ( oh my god, how good was that), a few delicious dinners at their restaurant Ô Saveur (be sure to check it out when you are in town), a visit of the impossibly charming town of Asilah with its beautifully restored medina next to the sea, a mint tea at the famous Café Hafa (The Beatles and The Rolling Stones came here) overlooking the bay of Tangier, a stroll through the historic heart of Tangier with its local food market and hundreds of small stores, playtime for the kids, and friendship!
Thanks so much J&G for these good times!
